Wayne PretlowDrama Instructor
Actor/Singer was born in Hartford,
Connecticut, and is the youngest of 5 children. He discovered his
passion for the stage at the age of 5, much to the credit of his older
Sister, who discovered the twinkle in his eye when he was brought on
stage during her High School production of Hair and as the saying goes...A HAM was born..... his Sister would then become his first voice teacher/acting coach.
While
attending Elementary School, his love for performing never wained as he
joined the "Soprano" section of his elementary school glee club.
Considered by most of his Teachers to be shy, Pretlow surprised many
when he auditioned for the role of the Minister in the Schools Black
History Month play, his audition so amazed his Teacher that he "got the
part", and so it began. Pretlow auditioned and was part of many Summer
Theater plays under the direction of the late Ellie Kurth; who was a
teacher in his elementary School, and musical director Patricia Edge,
who would then become his first legitimate voice teacher.
Recently Wayne co-starred as Hank on the CBS Drama The Good Wife; and has also guest starred on the second season of the HBO series The Sopranos,
Law & Order SVU and the original Law & Order on NBC, as well as
starring in the Independent film short In Retrospect, directed by Logan
Coles.
